Text

Text writes letters on a face of the part. A new text shows the part number.

Use text for part numbers, position codes or a note for the crew.

Default: what Add fills in on a 3000 mm part of 120 x 120 mm.

  1. Select the part in the Parts list.
  2. Under Extra processings, click Add.
  3. Type text in the search field and pick Text.
  4. Set Face, Position X and Position Y. Position Y is the text baseline, not its middle.
  5. Type the Text. Leave Text height at Automatic to let the machine decide, or set a height.
  6. Check that the part shows a green check. If not, open the Issues tab.
