What you learn

Processings used

  • Marking: Scribe a line across a face to mark a position for assembly. Angle and single or double style, with defaults and machine export.
  • Text: Put text on the timber, such as the part number, so parts are easy to find on site. Fields, defaults and machine export.
  • Trestle bench with mortise and tenon: A garden trestle bench whose uprights, bearers, feet and stretcher join with matching mortises and tenons, plus a groove for seat buttons.
  • Single carport: A 3 by 5.6 metre single carport with six posts, knee braces, two beams and eleven rafters notched over the beams.
